Tooling Tech Group About Edward D.
Segen & Co. LLC
Edward D. Segen & Co. was founded in 1965, building thermoform tooling
for the rapidly growing plastics packaging industry. The company was purchased
by the Tooling Tech Group in the late 1990’s. Recognizing a need
for reducing machine downtime at the point of tooling and mold changes,
Segen’s engineers developed the quick-change cylinder lock.
The Segen Quick change system soon became a preferred means of streamlining
productivity in the plastics thermoforming industry. Since then, the product
line has evolved into a broad range of precision quick change systems
that are being used to increase productivity in many different industries
for customers across five continents. We are your thermoforming connection!
While we continually seek out new markets for the quick-change devices,
our full line of quality thermoforming accessories complements our thermoform
tool building division and helps us stay connected with the world thermoforming
community.
